How to unlock your Mio Cx10

That method is easy and secure. Only a few minutes are necessary to unlock your device. At the end of the process, you

will find a Win CE desktop with some applications, games and tools already installed.

In case of problem, you will be able to reset your device by a simple “Hard Reset”.

Before you start

1 – Unzip Unlock_Mio_Cx10_v4.zip in a folder of your PC.

2 – Install Mio Transfer from Mio DVD. Then, in C:\Program Files\Mio DigiWalker folder, replace file Mio transfer.exe

by the file provided in the zip archive. That file is called “Mio Transfer Hack”.

Unlock

3 – Connect your Cx10 device to the USB port of your PC. Launch Mio Transfer Hack.

4 - Copy ppath_x10.txt file (depending of your device C510 or C710) in \Windows folder of the Mio. Rename that file to

ppath.txt.

Copy files cecmd.exe, Miotools.exe and Unlock Mio Cx10.cab in \Temp folder of the Mio. You should see that:

In case of synchronization problem with Unlock Mio Cx10.cab file, proceed like that: • Create a temporary folder, for example \Temp on \My Flash Disk
